Seeking opportunities to grow as a writer and experience new settings and challenges.

Objectives

Graduating from Ravensbourne College with designs to break into the TV industry I spent some time as a runner for various television and entertainment companies, ultimately my passion for writing and video gaming landed me the envious position of game reviewer of Ginx TV. Given management responsibility over my co-writers I have since went on to be a competent producer working both in the studio and location for their flagship shows, all the while innovating the brand with fresh ideas and content. With Ginx poised to launch a full UK channel using my styling’s as its voice I feel the time is right to seek a fresh challenge.

Summary

Even when I come home I can be found gaming with friends from the industry or working on articles and features for the gaming field outside of work constraints, I enjoy listening to various podcasts and I am unnervingly good at the mobile game Angry Birds. When not at the cinema or at PR events I try to support local sports team ‘The London Rock and Roller’s’ – a roller derby team that my friends play for.

Education

Chief Content Producer
Ginx TV (2009-2012)

Hired to bring unity to the review team’s output my experience as a writer quickly saw me in charge of the division, my TV background gifted the chance to write, direct and produce the flagship shows Gameface and The Ginx Files which were previously shown on Bravo and then on Challenge TV enjoying a steadily increasing audience, I am currently spearheading content development for several themed shows in line for a full UK channel launch enjoying daily interaction with Ginx’s PR and post production departments. Selected achievements include taking over as writer/director for Gameface which saw a positive feedback from fans and strengthened the brand with new viewers; acknowledgment that my writing style was to be used as the format for both international and UK based output and; attending launch events and strengthening the brands relationship with gaming community groups and professionals.
